McCann attempts to "swerve" local scrutiny
In a surprise development, McCann has now submitted an appeal to the government's planning inspectorate requesting that the inspector makes the planning decision, not the local council. This looks like an attempt to avoid the scrutiny of the local planning committee because things are not going their way here. In short, they have been found out.
This comes shortly after the government's Competition and Markets Authority announced that it has commenced proceedings to disqualify three directors of the McCann family (including the CEO) for illegal practices. The year hasn't started well for this company.
In another new development, McCann has now submitted yet another planning application for retrospective approval of work they have already carried out without planning permission and in breach of planning regulations. Needless to say, we will be objecting to this new application. We will not allow McCann to stick two fingers up to local residents and planners.
A detailed update on these developments will follow in due course but, if you want more information please send us an email. at firstname.lastname@example.org
